Dayvid LeMmon is a 23 year old artist and photographer native to Phoenix, Arizona. His images employ a variety of techniques to give the dreamlike and surreal appearance of times past and yet to come. He prefers not to force a message on his viewers, but rather to convey a sense of mystery that allows them to use their imagination to interpret the meaning.

Introduced to the magic of photography in his grandfather's darkroom at a young age, Dayvid has spent much of his life with a camera in hand. Formally educated in traditional black & white photography at Glendale Community College, and armed with real-world experience as an assistant to professional commercial photographers, he switched entirely to digital photography in late 2004 and hasn't looked back since. Working digitally allows him more efficiency in transferring images from his mind's eye onto gallery walls and the printed page, with print quality that meets and sometimes even exceeds that which he was used to while working with film.

Dayvid's work has been exhibited widely around the Phoenix area since 2002. He recently had his first solo show in at the Lucky Cat New York City in June 2005, which was extremely successful, breaking the gallery's record for prints sold in a single show. In addition to fine art, he also shoots band promotional photography, album artwork, fashion, and portraiture, and works as a freelance assistant to commercial photographers.
